Paver Projects We Install
- Paver driveways — full driveways, borders, aprons and parking pads.
- Paver walkways — front entries, side yards and garden paths.
- Paver patios — see our Patios page.
- Paver pool decks — see our Pool Decks page.
- Paver stoops and steps — see our Front Stoops page.
- Permeable pavers — let rainwater soak through to reduce runoff and puddling.
- Paver repair and resetting — lift, re-base and relay sunken or heaved pavers, and re-sand joints.
How We Install Pavers to Last
The base is what keeps pavers from sinking and shifting. Our installs follow industry practice for segmental pavement:
- Excavate below finished grade to allow for base, bedding sand and paver thickness.
- Compact the subgrade and add geotextile fabric where soils are soft.
- Install the aggregate base in lifts, compacting each layer. Typical depth is about 4 to 6 inches for walkways and patios and 8 to 12 inches for driveways, adjusted for soil.
- Screed bedding sand to an even 1-inch layer.
- Lay pavers in your chosen pattern and cut borders cleanly.
- Install edge restraint so the field can't spread.
- Compact and sand joints, using polymeric sand where appropriate.
Brands and Styles
We install pavers from major manufacturers, in classic brick shapes, large-format slabs, tumbled and natural-stone looks, and permeable systems. We will bring samples to your estimate.
