What types of masonry work do you do?

Brick, block, natural stone, concrete and pavers, including stoops, steps, walkways, sidewalks, walls, patios and repointing.

How do I know if my brick needs repointing?

Look for mortar that is recessed, crumbling, cracked, or that you can scrape out with a key. Repointing before water gets behind the brick prevents much larger repairs.

Do you replace sidewalks that the town says need repair?

Yes. Many towns require property owners to repair damaged sidewalks. We replace sections to town specifications and pull the permit where required.

Can you match my existing brick or stone?

We source brick, stone and mortar to get as close a match as possible. Older or discontinued brick can be harder to match, and we will show you options before work begins.

Is masonry work done in winter?

Mortar and concrete need to stay above freezing while they cure. We can do some work in cold weather with protection, but most masonry is scheduled spring through fall.

Do you handle both repairs and new construction?

Yes. We take on small repairs, full rebuilds, and new stoops, walls and hardscapes.
